Here's a unique lasagna recipe that combines some traditional ingredients with some non-traditional ones for a twist on the classic dish
Ingredients:
* 1 pound ground beef
* 1 small onion, diced
* 1 small bell pepper, diced
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
* 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
* 1/2 cup beef broth
* 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 cup cooked, crumbled sausage
* 1 cup diced cooked chicken
* 1 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
* 1 cup diced roasted vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, and zucchini)
* 12 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
* 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. In a separate skillet, cook the sausage, chicken, and bacon until they are browned and fully cooked.
5. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Top with a layer of lasagna noodles, then a layer of the cooked sausage, chicken, and bacon. Sprinkle some of the mozzarella cheese.
6. Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of meat sauce and mozzarella cheese on top. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top.
7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the lasagna is hot and bubbly.
8. Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
